MAJORCA broke on top and briefly cleared, was joined by inner foes leaving the chute then emerged in a battle outside WHO'S THE KING near the three quarter pole, rated kindly disputing the pace into the turn, wrested command mid turn, responded when shaken up soon into the stretch, spurted away under a solid drive with a furlong remaining then held firm while kept to task. STRAIGHT TO WATER bobbled slightly at the break, regrouped and settled off the inside, gained four wide outside rivals leaving the far turn, gave willing pursuit from the head of the lane and dug in to save the place. BRINDANO broke a step slow, settled off the pace while saving ground, swung five to six wide for the drive and made a grinding run outside rivals. JOLLY BY GOLLY rated back from outer foes in the opening three sixteenths, stalked the dueling leaders while saving ground, was coaxed along holding a forward spot past the three eighths, eased out for the drive, chased on between runners near mid stretch then came up empty. WHO'S THE KING edged up between runners early and took a slim lead, dropped inside and dueled with the winner, ceded the lead mid turn, was under heavy pressure soon after, stayed willingly to mid stretch then faded. REYNOLDS CHANNEL settled early off the contested pace, moved up under some asking into the far turn, bid three deep mid turn, failed to go on leaving the quarter pole and weakened through the final eighth. Due to a photo finish malfunction, finish margins were provided by the chart caller.
