GONZALO settled off the pace but not too far back, worked his way between foes mid turn, angled five wide into the lane, straightened and responded to left handed asking, ranged up and engaged the leader leaving the furlong grounds, wore that one down in deep stretch and was edging away at the wire. FLYING TO WORK edged up between runners nearing the half and stalked, bid in hand past the five sixteenths, was floated four wide while taking over entering the lane, briefly spurted clear under a drive, dug in when confronted by the outer winner then gave way grudgingly through the final yards. DAN GAMBLE drafted back off the pace and saved ground, came under a ride past the three eighths, was guided outward for the drive, finished with effort and was able to nab the show in the final yards. MRSALTN'VINEGAR sped clear early, set the pace towards the inside, was hooked past the five sixteenths, wandered outward while dueling into the stretch then weakened a furlong from home. BABY BOBBY stumbled soon after the break, regrouped and moved up towards the inner rail to gain a stalking spot, was under pressure pursuing into the lane, failed to kick on nearing mid stretch and faded. ZIMBA , three wide outside foes while stalking the pace, was under pressure mid turn, wandered to about the five path entering the stretch and tired. BILLY BOY , four wide outside rivals, chased to mid turn then faltered.
