Footnotes
TOO MANY KISSES remained along the inner rail stalking the leader down the backstretch and on the far turn, eased out to the two path entering the stretch, bid for the lead in upper stretch and asserted herself late to draw away under steady handling. OLD BAY , sent to the early lead, controlled the pace along the inner rail, was hooked by the winner in upper stretch, drifted out in mid stretch and gave way grudgingly. DISCO RULES , rated between horses down the backstretch, raced in the two path the far turn, swung five wide turning for home, came up empty and passed tired rivals. THE GODDESS FACTOR , void of speed, advanced four deep leaving the far turn then gave way. SHIRL'S DELIGHT , four deep entering the first turn, was forwardly placed in the three path on the far turn then dropped back through the stretch. SECRET JOURNEY , fractious in the starting gate, raced back from between horses soon after the break and was outrun. ESTOCADA , snugly rated between horses on the backstretch, gave way on the far turn and was eased.
