NICK'S NOTION , urged from the gate, raced between runners through the backstretch run, was scrubbed along making some progress past the five sixteenths, swung out four wide in upper stretch and was put to firm asking, closed rapidly through the final sixteenth, rolled past the leader in deep stretch and won going away. DETERMIND PRINCESS cleared early and set a rated pace towards the inside, spurted away after being set down in upper stretch, kept on gamely but was unable to deny the winner's charge. JUNIPER JUICE stalked two wide, took closer order under some coaxing leaving the far turn, pursued through the lane and continued on with effort though no match for the top pair. HAPPY THIS DAY , three wide both turns, followed the winner past the three sixteenths but failed to generate a serious run. NOTHINGLESSWILLDO saved ground, edged up some near the five sixteenths, chased and flattened out. GRANUAILE , three wide stalking the pace, moved up into the far turn, shifted five wide chasing in upper stretch and faded. LOOKS FIRST steadied when rank in the opening furlong, saved some ground while off the pace and faded. ALL GAS NO BRAKES refused to break. There was a stewards' inquiry into the start of ALL GAS NO BRAKES. No action was deemed necessary.
