SPENCERIAN broke sharply then eased back off the leaders in the opening furlong, rated kindly stalking a hotly contested pace, went on the attack and pounced four wide near the quarter pole, opened up under vigorous encouragement in mid stretch then continued to widen while kept to task. SHKHARA FIRE settled off the pace while saving some ground, angled four wide for the drive, finished up willingly and overtook a tiring foe to be second best. TUNED TO THE MOON moved up between foes soon after the break to entertain the pace, emerged in a duel outside SUSAN'S MULE leaving the five eighths, alternated for the lead into and around the turn, clung to the to front while between rivals near the quarter pole, ceded to the outer winner entering the lane and faded through the final seventy yards. GLOWS IN THE DARK settled back off the duelers while outside a rival, angled five wide for the drive but failed to kick on. SUSAN'S MULE broke slowly, was sent up to the inside of foes soon after and gained a short lead, sparred to about the head of the lane then surrendered.
