JEAN VALJEAN chased outside NORMANDY HERO, overtook that one inside the eighth pole and drove clear. INCINERATOR lacked speed, floated to the six path in upper stretch and rallied outside horses. NORMANDY HERO sped to the front, set the pace near the inner rail, was hooked near the eighth pole and weakened late. WHERE'S RAY raced in the two path on the turn, moved to the four path near the quarter pole, worked between horses in the stretch and flattened out. PRINCE OF JERICHO , bumped by TALENTED MAN leaving the starting gate, raced between horses in the stretch and was not a factor. TIDEWATER , three deep around the turn, drifted to the four path at the head of the stretch and gave way. GOLD TRUST , outside horses down the backstretch and on the turn, chased to the stretch and gave way. TALENTED MAN bobbled then came in and bumped PRINCE OF JERICHO leaving the starting gate, hugged the inner rail on the turn and gave way. STUDLYDORIGHT , wide on the turn, was outrun.
