GOODBYE NOTE relaxed three wide stalking a contested early pace, edged up to take aim on the clear leader leaving the far turn, bid from the outside and in hand approaching the stretch, kicked away after being shaken up leaving the quarter pole, drifted in when switching to his left lead a sixteenth out then continued to widened while kept alert. HOLY SYNCHRONICITY bobbled inward at the break, regrouped and took the early lead, was joined from his inside by LOVE ME NOT leaving the chute and sparred past the three quarter pole, went clear in hand with about four and a half furlongs remaining, stayed on when joined mid turn, fought on into the lane, proved no match for the winner but continued with good effort through the final furlong. EL TINMARIN saved ground most of the way but failed to generate a serious run. LOVE ME NOT , bumped at the break, was gunned up soon after and joined the leader from the inside, dueled to about the five eighths, failed to keep pace into the turn, was under pressure pursuing past the three eighths, angled out and faded. FORMAL AFFAIR , five then four wide early, tapered to the inside of a drifting AZTEC near the five eighths, raced between runners leaving the far turn but failed to generate a finish. AZTEC drifted out in the opening quarter mile, raced three deep leaving the far turn, shifted six wide into the lane, faltered and was eased in the final furlong.
