TAMMY'S CRUISER , in hand along the inner rail down the backstretch, lightly bumped with READY FOR MAGIC when moving to the two path entering the turn, advanced inside TURKISH BREEZE to challenge for the lead in upper stretch, drifted out near the sixteenth pole and drove clear. TURKISH BREEZE made the lead outside JULIE BELLE leaving the backstretch, remained in the two path around the turn, drifted out turning for home, gave way grudgingly and drifted out near the sixteenth pole. READY FOR MAGIC , in the two path between horses down the backstretch, was lightly bumped by the winner entering the turn, raced inside horses in the stretch and rallied. FIRE AT MIDNIGHT circled horses on the turn, floated five wide approaching the stretch and weakened. CHRISTY MY LOVE , in the four path between horses on the turn, chased the pace to mid stretch and weakened. JULIE BELLE hugged the inner rail, showed speed to the stretch and weakened. PAPERBACK EDITION bore out leaving the starting gate, saved ground on the turn, swung out in upper stretch, weakened and was eased. An objection by the rider of READY FOR MAGIC against the winner for alleged interference entering the turn was not allowed.
