HOPPETOSSE saved ground on the turn, eased out in upper stretch, took command approaching the sixteenth pole and was kept to his business in the drive. THEN WHAT TIME , checked when bumped and pinched back leaving the starting gate, circled the turn four wide and closed gamely. CALL ME A CAB , angled in early, stayed along the inner rail throughout and rallied. DANCING BEAR stalked the pace from the three path on the turn, was well positioned turning for home and flattened out between horses. TIK TOK DADDY saved ground around the turn, eased out, worked between horses in the stretch and failed to be a factor. EL JUNIOR worked between horses in the stretch and lacked a rally. ELON impeded rivals when bearing out at the start, sped to the front, stay off the rail in the stretch and gave way. BOX OF ROCKETS , soundly bumped in the jam up caused by ELON leaving the starting gate, was not a factor and circled the turn five wide. BAD BOY BLAZE stumbled after being soundly bumped and forced out by ELON levaing the starting gate, raced along the inner rail in the stretch and was not a factor. YERCAN MARO (ARG) , no factor, swung six wide turning for home.
