FAIRFIELD BAY stayed outside horses down the backstretch, circled the turn four to five wide, took command outside TRIATHELON near the eighth pole and drew off under steady encouragement. MAUPANSANT lacked speed, worked between horses on the turn, swung to the seven path in mid stretch and rallied nicely outside rivals. MAJESTIC BLUE , four wide on the turn, moved to the six path in mid stretch and rallied. TRIATHELON showed speed between horses down the backstretch, dueled outside RAGING CAJUN around the turn and in the stretch and faded late. TACTICS , no factor, raced near the inner rail around the turn. RAGING CAJUN hugged the inner rail, disputed the pace to the eighth pole and weakened. SNEAKING SUSPICION , taken to the inner rail leaving the backstretch, saved ground around the turn, eased out to the three path entering the stretch and weakened. SALVO TRIGGER , rank leaving the starting gate, was outrun. DATS TAP , caught in tight quarters leaving the starting gate, advanced four wide leaving the backstretch, chased the pace to the stretch and tired. DERZ SMART prompted the pace between horses down the backstretch and gave way entering the stretch.
