STERLING CAT drifted in a bit leaving the chute, rated back along the inner rail near the five eighths pole, eased out on the turn, closed determinedly outside CHRISTMAS JONES and took the lead approaching the finish. CHRISTMAS JONES set the pace slightly off the rail down the backstretch, hugged the inner rail around the turn, raced on her left lead the final furlong and gave way grudgingly. SNOW BELLA prompted outside CHARISTMAS JONES to upper stretch then gave way.
