BRIEF AFFAIR , a bit reluctant to load, came away forwardly and stalked five wide outside rivals, moved up and bid three deep after a half mile, took over from inner foes under left handed asking in mid stretch, sparred outside CROSS OF VALOR from there and held sway. CROSS OF VALOR sped to the early lead while off the inside, dug in when joined from both sides near the five sixteenths, bumped with an inner BEAUXBATONS in upper stretch, fought on to the inside of the winner through the final furlong and dug in gamely to preserve the place. PNEUMO WARRIOR forced the pace three wide and between horses, dropped back some past the five sixteenths, shifted out five wide for the drive and came back on with a steady run while on her left lead. PEACE BEFORE CHAOS , reluctant to load, broke inward, corrected and edged up behind rivals, tracked two wide under coaxing mid turn, shifted some in the final furlong and churned on. ADA GIRL ADALINE , unruly at the gate, was backed out then loaded back in, broke slowly then steadied when in close, edged up off the rail leaving the far turn, advanced to the inside of a rival near the quarter pole, swung out seven wide for the final three sixteenths and closed willingly. BEAUXBATONS broke a beat slow then was forced in, regrouped and accelerated to the inside of rivals to reach a stalking spot, moved through along the rail to bid mid turn, dueled on a slim lead into the lane, exchanged contact with an outer foe soon after, was unable to kick on with the leaders near the sixteenth pole and faded. LUX broke slowly, dropped off the pace, raced towards the inside and failed to menace. TRULY THRILLING , four wide between rivals stalking the early pace, failed to kick on past the three eighths and weakened.
