MIZNER chased outside LAYSEN, overtook that one at the head of the stretch, opened a clear advantage in upper stretch and was kept to his business in the drive. PALACIOS , inside horses leaving the backstretch, swung to the four path mid way on the turn and rallied nicely outside horses. WONDER MIST , reluctant to load into the starting gate, was lightly steadied at the break, raced inside horses on the turn and in the stretch, angled outside near the sixteenth pole and failed to menace. CASEOFTHEMONDAYS , rank at the start, chased from the three path around the turn and faded in the drive. FLIRTY BAJAN lacked speed outside horses, floated to the seven path in upper stretch and passed tired rivals. G Q WORTHY , steadied at the start, was outrun and moved to the six path in upper stretch. POOR PEANUT remained along the inner rail chasing the early pace and faltered entering the stretch. LAYSEN sped to the front, stayed along the inner rail and faltered late. R J'S ICE , angled three wide leaving the turn, dropped back.
