Footnotes
NOAH CHANCE prompted the pace outside a rival, moved to the attack three wide outside the leader nearing the lane, wrested command inside the quarter pole, spurted clear under a drive in mid stretch then steadily widened while kept alert. TALENTED MAN hopped at the break and bobbled slightly before recovering, rushed up from the outside and took over into the turn, edged clear soon after and set the pace towards the inside, dug in when engaged entering the stretch, could not quite go with the winner nearing the eighth pole but continued on valiantly to save the place. BOSS IS A PAL had speed inside foes, rated back then was in closer between runners leaving the far turn, tracked between mid turn, angled out four wide soon into the stretch, moved up to have aim near mid stretch then flattened out. HUNTER JOE lightly steadied between runners nearing the turn, eased out and churned on between horses. TOUGH WORKOUT vied early, rated back off the outer leader nearing the turn, saved ground stalking mid turn, eased out a bit and came up empty. NOBLE JON , three deep early, shifted five wide for the drive, chased outside runners past the three sixteenths but lacked a serious finish. TURBULENT FORCE saved ground, was within range nearing the furlong grounds but failed to follow through. POINT LIAM , off the pace and four wide into the turn, shifted in some and failed to menace. CATAHOULA MOON , three wide into the turn, made a mild run past the three eighths, angled six wide and gave way.
