Footnotes
PEACH TIE settled off the dueling leaders, gathered momentum two wide past the three eighths, swung five wide soon into the lane, closed sharply under strong left handed encouragement, rolled past an inner TESSELLATE with about sixty yards remaining, eagerly cleared and was taken in hand for the final strides. TESSELLATE broke outwardly, was with the early pace four deep, dropped in a path and rated off the dueling leaders heading to the turn, moved up and bid three deep under confident handling past the five sixteenths, went clear after being roused in upper stretch, kept on under a drive past the sixteenth pole then gave way grudgingly. LITTLE MISS CURLIN sped up to the inside of rivals soon after the break, emerged in a battle to the inside of LIGHTS OUT LENI nearing the half, clung to the advantage to upper stretch, stayed willingly past the furlong marker then faded. LIGHTS OUT LENI was sent up between rivals soon after the break, disputed the pace outside LITTLE MISS CURLIN into and around the turn, failed to go on with rivals to each side in upper stretch and faded through the final sixteenth. GETTING CLOSER had speed three wide between horses, rated back leaving the five eighths, chased in the clear leaving the far turn, lacked a response past the five sixteenths and weakened.
