Footnotes
BIG CUDDLE broke a step slow then was bumped by an inner rival, regrouped and edged up to race forwardly and two wide, bumped with an outer FALCON JET when holding position between horses leaving the five eighths, briefly paused into the far turn, came back on and found a seam to advance between runners nearing the lane, attacked three wide and to the outside of FINAL STORY soon into the lane, poked a head in front nearing the furlong grounds, dueled under strong handling and proved resolute to the wire. FINAL STORY stumbled at the break, quickly recovered and moved up between runners into the first turn to join the pace fray, took over in hand leaving the three quarter pole, edged clear two wide after a half, came under a ride once confronted by the outer winner in upper stretch, battled valiantly through the final three sixteenths but wasn't quite good enough. MINORINCONVENIENCE broke outward bumping with the winner, drafted back off the pace and angled out for the backstretch run, took closer order leaving the far turn, angled out and circled five wide into the stretch, kept on willingly but was no match for the top pair. LET'S GO LANDO broke on top and set the early pace inside, ceded to FINAL STORY in early backstretch, stayed close under some rating, was pushed along inside rivals leaving the five sixteenths, swung out in upper stretch, pursued to the inside of a rival leaving mid stretch and flattened out. PONT AVEN lost ground four wide stalking the pace, moved up to loom a factor past the three eighths, failed to kick on in upper stretch and faded. FALCON JET tracked three wide, bumped with the winner near the five eighths, was urged along between horses past the five sixteenths, faltered in upper stretch and was eased through the final furlong.
