BRING THE SMOKE bobbled at the break, quickly recovered and rated kindly while inside and within range, eased out with progress into the lane, took closer order between rivals near the furlong ground, altered further out soon after, closed relentlessly under right handed asks and got up outside an embattled pair. FAUST vied between foes, emerged in a duel to the inside of HAILEYSFIRSTNOTION in upper stretch, gained a slim lead while drifting out some in deep stretch, kept on gamely but was unable to deny the winner's outer surge. HAILEYSFIRSTNOTION was nudged up between runners soon after the start, disputed the pace three deep under some rating, gained a short lead past the five sixteenths, spun four wide into lane battling outside FAUST, clung to the advantage past the furlong grounds, was floated out some in deep stretch and flattened. CELTIC CONTENDER broke on top, drafted back off the leading trio after a furlong, pursued three deep mid turn, angled four to five wide for the drive and failed to punch on through the final furlong. S S SINATRA , outrun early, swung six wide for the drive and offered a belated kick. SLAM NOTION stalked off the inside, was under pressure between runners mid turn, lacked a response in upper stretch and faded. FASTER GATOR took command soon after the start, set a pressured pace inside a pair of rivals, ceded command mid turn, stayed willingly to about mid stretch then weakened.
