GOLDEN SOVEREIGN took over between rivals then went clear after a furlong, set the pace toward the inside, denied an outer bid from HURRICANE LYNN past the five sixteenths, spurted back clear while under a drive leaving the three sixteenths then dug in late to hold sway. EMMA MERMAID , forward and to the inside of rivals the opening furlong, steadied back off horses soon after, angled out and split runners with an advance mid turn, angled five wide for the drive and closed nicely through the final furlong. HURRICANE LYNN , away last when appearing to lose her footing, regrouped and moved up between foes, angled out and ranged up four deep past the half, bid outside the winner mid turn, pressed into the lane then flattened out late. JANENMIKE broke a step slow, edged up between runners soon after to be close, was outpaced near the three eighths, shifted inside and found more in the final furlong. GOTTA BE DA SHOES , three wide between foes early, chased in the clear mid turn, came three wide for the drive but one paced late. FEEL THE BOLT angled in early and settled, came out for the drive and failed to menace. TAI TAI RUSH , well wide throughout, failed to menace. GALIBEAN , six wide into the turn, chased briefly and retreated. FORTY SEVEN SMOKER showed speed, pursued four wide between runners nearing the turn, failed to kick on past the three eighths and faltered.
