Footnotes
HUE , brushed at the break, was nudged up to the inside of READY FOR TROUBLE and gained a slim advantage, took pressure into and around the turn, edged clear off the rail and under a strong drive in mid stretch then steadily widened through the final seventy yards. READY FOR TROUBLE broke inward brushing the winner, hounded that one from her outside for four furlongs, could not quite match strides approaching the eighth pole then gave way grudgingly. ALDENE broke outward and was away last, corrected and pursued off the rail but failed to generate a response.
