Footnotes
CROSS OF VALOR , bumped at the break, pulled her way clear in the opening yards, set a rated pace towards the inside, kept on under strong encouragement past mid stretch and held sway. LENDALFOOT stalked three wide early on, took closer order past the three eighths, gave game chase through the lane and was well clear of the rest. FIRESTREAK bore out at the break bumping the winner, corrected and edged up between horses leaving the chute, tapered in towards the rail to stalk, was under pressure past the three eighths, failed to kick on leaving the three sixteenths and faded. VERDANT TONES stumbled at the break and was away last, regrouped and was taken in hand off the inside, gained off the rail past the three eighths, chased into the lane, lacked a kick nearing mid stretch and faded. HOPPERETTA saved ground, faltered around the turn and was eased late.
