TWELVE TREASURES broke outward and bumped with HOWGREATISNATE, corrected and edged up inside to stalk, eased out leaving the three sixteenths, closed determinedly under right handed asking and got up between rivals. GOODBYE NOTE set a pressured pace inside, lost the advantage inside the three sixteenths, battled back under asking to regain command leaving the sixteenth pole, kept on gamely but was unable to deny the winner's charge. SLAM NOTION rated four wide outside rivals while close up, moved up and bid three deep after a half, sparred outside rivals past the five sixteenths and into the lane, emerged with a slim lead dueling outside GOODBYE NOTE past the three sixteenths, ceded the advantage with about a sixteenth to go then was out kicked between horses. CRAB DADDY stalked between horses, came four wide for the drive, shifted out near the furlong grounds and made a grinding run outside runners in the final seventy yards. BOLD DIVERSION ducked out at the break, drafted back off the pace while well wide, circled five to six wide into the stretch and lacked a serious finish. GO JOE WON pressed the pace outside GOODBYE NOTE then sparred between runners around the turn, drifted out impeding HOWGREATISNATE nearing mid stretch and faded. HOWGREATISNATE , bumped and in tight at the break, regrouped and settled inside, eased out with a gain past the five sixteenths, clipped heels and stumbled when impeded leaving the three sixteenths, gathered himself up after losing all chance and coasted home. Following a stewards' inquiry and and objection by the rider of HOWGREATISNATE against GO JOE WON, GO JOE WON was disqualified from sixth and placed last. Objections by the rider of HOWGREATISNATE against TWELVE TREASURES and CRAB DADDY, alleging interference near mid stretch were not allowed.
