BARBADIAN RUNNER prompted the pace outside INDY CHARGES ON, came under a ride leaving the far turn, leveled off when switching over to his correct lead near the three sixteenths, wrested command near mid stretch then eagerly widened under a steady hand ride. INDY CHARGES ON cleared early, set the pace towards the inside, was put to asking near the five sixteenths, clung to the advantage nearing mid stretch, proved no match through the final sixteenth but continued on with effort to be well clear of the rest. UNION FLEET settled off the pace, edged up between rivals near the three eighths, came three wide with chase into the lane but failed to generate a solid finish. CROSSLAND saved ground, took closer order nearing the half, failed to kick on with the leaders leaving the three eighths and faded. MARGIE'S FUN SON broke outward, corrected and moved up three wide nearing the half, was unable to keep pace leaving the far turn and weakened.
