Footnotes
RIVER CITY RUNNER moved up four wide then bid three deep near the seven eighths, disputed the pace outside HOORAW, was under a hustling ride sparring on near even terms past the five sixteenth, forged a clear advantage into the stretch, shifted in close to the inner rail, opened up under a drive in mid stretch then was kept alert to late. DIVINE SWAGGER , off the pace and off the inside, angled out leaving the far turn, circled four wide with progress into the stretch, had his rider lose the crop mid twirl nearing the furlong grounds and kept on with good effort to bridge the gap. HOORAW moved up and bid between foes to take a short lead leaving the seven eighths, set a pressured pace towards the inside, dueled under strong asking past the five sixteenths, altered out after the winner cleared into the lane, chased on willingly past mid stretch and faded late. MY CAPTAIN tracked outside a rival, had aim off the duelers nearing the quarter pole, failed to kick on leaving the three sixteenths and weakened. TRANSQUAKING led into the first turn then was rated back off of an outer pair near the seven eighths, stayed around to stalk towards the rail, failed to go on under pressure past the five sixteenths and weakened. GONNA MAKE IT , up close along the rail near the seven eighths, dropped back through the backstretch run, angled four to five wide nearing the lane but came up empty. TREASURTHEMEMORIES bobbled at the break, got out badly around the first turn, was pulled up soon into the backstretch and walked off. There was a stewards' inquiry concerning TREASURTHEMEMORIES. No action was deemed necessary.
