LOOKS FIRST lagged off the pace while saving ground, was under pressure past the three eighths, edged up past the three sixteenths, worked outward for the final furlong, closed steadily under a drive, wrested command in deep stretch and was edging away at the wire. SHE'S NOT A LAD broke slowly, regrouped and rolled to the front, set the pace towards the inside, was under a hustling ride into the stretch, remained clear under a drive to the sixteenth marker then weakened very late. DIVINE WORKS prompted the pace three wide, was under pressure pursuing into the stretch, gave hard chase past mid stretch and came up empty through the final yards. NANCY MARY drafted back off the pace while about four wide, was under asking mid turn, shifted six to seven wide for the drive but failed to muster up a legitimate finish. ANITA BEER broke a step slow, edged up inside through the opening quarter mile and stalked, angled out for the drive, chased past mid stretch and faded. PERSIAN , between horses while within range early, was under pressure outside a rival leaving the three eighths, angled five to six wide in upper stretch but failed to follow through. FITNESS , three deep early, failed to respond leaving the far turn and faltered.
