DESTINATION sprinted clear leaving the backstretch, was pressed by GRIPEN turning for home, drifted out near the eighth pole and edged away late. GRIPEN bumped with DIANE LEE leaving the backstretch, advanced outside the winner in upper stretch, was floated out near the eighth pole and continued gamely. SERENE SPIRIT , checked in tight quarters leaving the backstretch, stayed along the inner rail around the turn, chased and failed to rally in an even effort. DIANE LEE , steadied when bumping with GRIPEN while in tight quarters leaving the backstretch, raced between horses in the stretch and was no threat. IT'S HOT IN HERE (IRE) broke slowly, swung outside on the backstretch, raced wide on the turn, drifted to the nine path turning for home and was not a factor. CAROLINA SUN , checked in traffic leaving the backstretch, saved ground on the turn, moved out, worked between horses and was no threat. SHE CALLED chased the pace and weakened. TASTY TIME broke slowly and awkwardly, checked on heels leaving the backstretch and was no factor. PROBABLE ANGLE , outrun, came into the stretch in the five path. An objection by the rider of GRIPEN against DESTINATION for alleged interference in the stretch run was not allowed.
