GOLF CART RYDER , bumped at the break, quickly regrouped and took to rating, edged up between runners nearing the half, took aim of the embattled leaders three wide nearing the lane, responded to asking and rolled past FLAMENCO STAR leaving the three sixteenths, drifted in after clearing off, kept on under solid handling past the sixteenth pole and lasted. PAID VACATION , brushed at the break, settled in the clear while saving ground, took closer order past the five sixteenths, angled four wide for the drive and finished well to gain. WORK SMARTER , jostled and pinched back at the break, recovered and settled well off the pace, circled five wide into the stretch and closed steadily through the final furlong. FLAMENCO STAR rated three then two wide stalking the pace, moved to engage into the far turn, dueled then gained a short lead approaching the quarter pole, spurted clear under asking soon after, drifted in towards the rail, failed to deny the winner and weakened through the final seventy yards. SHAKIN MY HEAD stalked inside, edged up near the half, was coaxed along to stay close near the five sixteenths, eased out to chase between runners into the lane, failed to kick on past mid stretch and faded. REVOLUTION ROCK , fractious pre race, hopped a bit at the break, was guided inside and settled off the pace, eased out in upper stretch then came up empty. MODRANACH , fractious in the gate, edged up and stalked three deep nearing the half, failed to kick on past the five sixteenths and faded. WICKHAM LANE settled off the pace and off the inside then failed to produce a stretch kick. SILVER SABER , keen when clearing early, set the pace towards the inside, was joined into the far turn, sparred to the head of the lane then surrendered through the final three sixteenths.
