SPENCER TIARA broke alertly to make the early lead, stayed near the rail around the turn, responded when asked and drew off under brisk urging. VANILLA chased the winner from the two path on the turn, swung four wide at the head of the lane and rallied mildly outside rivals. LA CHISMOSA bobbled at the break, hugged the inner rail around the turn and in the stretch but flattened out. MON REVE remained along the inner rail on the turn and was not a factor. GREEK HEIRESS bore out leaving the starting gate, chased from the three path down the backstretch, prompted the winner leaving the turn and gave way in the drive. GETTING CLOSER , no factor, raced in the two path on the turn then swung wide in upper stretch.
