GOLDEN DESCENT stalked outside SUPERLASTINGSECRET while under confident handling, was set down near the eighth pole and drove clear. SUPERLASTINGSECRET moved to the inner rail after sprinting clear soon after the break, set the pace to mid stretch and gave way grudgingly. MAKE IT QUICK hugged the inner rail in a forward position, angled out near the eighth pole and lacked the needed rally in an even effort. LANNISTER raced in mid pack on the turn, moved to the four path in upper stretch and offered a mild gain outside foes. DYNAFLAME , three deep around the turn, stalked the pace and gave way in the drive. FLIRTY BAJAN , no factor, swung to the five path near the quarter pole. NANCIE'S BOY lunged at the break and gave way on the turn. DAD JOKE broke sluggishly, dropped back, pulled up and walked off. There was a stewards' inquiry concerning the start but no action was taken.
