OXFORD UNION , under urging between horses mid way on the far turn, raced in the two path in the stretch, swept to command inside ALL FRUITS RIPE near the sixteenth pole and drove clear. PLENTY ON TAP , outside horses down the backstretch, raced in the three path between horses on the far turn, ease out in upper stretch and rallied. BATTLE LOU broke slowly, was rank in traffic entering the first turn, swung widest in upper stretch and rallied. ALL FRUITS RIPE sped to the front going into the first turn, remained well in front while off the rail turning for home, drifted out in mid stretch and tired. HARD STANCE stalked outside ALL FRUITES RIPE, was well positioned entering the stretch and gave way. TIZ THE GREAT , no factor, passed tired rivals. STARK COUNTY remained along the inner rail in a forward position until the stretch then weakened. GORDITO broke awkwardly, was outrun and encountered traffic along the inner rail in the stretch. DEPUTY A. P. , three wide the first turn, chased outside horses, circled the far turn four wide and gave way. GONNA MAKE IT broke awkwardly, was outrun and stayed wide around the far turn.
