Footnotes
DAUFUSKIE ISLAND tracked inside, took closer order under coaxing past the five sixteenths, slipped through to bid inside a pair of rivals soon into the lane, spurted clear under left handed asking then eagerly widened while kept alert. ARTILLERY GUNNAR , four deep nearing the half, moved up under asking past the five sixteenths, bid three deep past the quarter pole, chased on leaving mid stretch and kept on willingly. NORMANDY HERO sped clear early, set the pace off the inside, failed to deny threats from both sides leaving the three sixteenths and faltered. QUINCANNON broke a bit slow, was urged along off the pace, came five wide for the drive and failed to produce a rally. BLESS AMERICA , three wide between runners early, eased back a bit near the half and faded. CUT GLASS rushed up between runners in the opening furlong, stalked three wide, failed to kick on leaving the five sixteenths and faltered.
