MID SUMMER , unhurried early, stalked down the backstretch, worked between horses in the stretch, closed late and was up at the wire. GUM stayed near the inner rail, moved to the two path turning for home and rallied inside foes. RESORT (FR) , along the inner rail down the backstretch, eased off the fence leaving the far turn, raced in the three path between horses in the stretch drive and closed. IMPROBABLE TALE , fractious going to the starting gate, raced widest on the far turn, drifted in near the three sixteenths pole, was taken back outside in mid stretch and finished gamely. ABUNDANT LOVE , four wide the far turn, finished willingly between foes. TOOCOOLFORSCHOOL showed speed along the inner rail, opened up on the far turn, was still clear inside the sixteenth pole then faltered. SOTA SUMMERS , rank in close quarters at the start, rated toward the back of the pack down the backstretch and came up empty in the stretch. ROCK TALK stumbled at the start and was not a factor. CLEOPATRA SELENE gained the lead outside TOOCOOLFORSCHOOL mid way on the backstretch and stopped on the far turn.
