CACTUS , inside horses entering the turn, eased out and swung four wide approaching the stretch, closed determinedly outside horses and was up near the finish. FIRMANTOWN chased outside ELVIS HIMSELF, overtook that one near the sixteenth pole and failed to hold off the winner. VIRTUOSITY saved ground on the turn, worked his way to the outside in upper stretch and rallied late. ELVIS HIMSELF sprinted to the front and moved to the inner rail leaving the backstretch, remained in front in mid stretch and weakened late. JOLLY BOSS , steadied when pinched back leaving the starting gate, showed late action. KOHOUTEK , three deep on the turn, chased the pace and weakened. JIGGER , no factor, raced wide turning for home. GREAT HEAVENS broke slowly, remained along the inner rail throughout and was outrun. BENNY HAVENS unseated his rider and ran off a furlong during the post parade, raced wide and was outrun. G Q WORTHY was outrun. WHENEVERUREMEMBER bore in leaving the starting gate, raced inside horses and faltered.
