HARPER'S CORNER bucked at the break, accelerated to the early lead, set the pace slightly off the rail and eagerly pulled away under a hand ride. PELICAN PIER bumped and forced out PARIS BY NIGHT when bearing out at the break, saved ground around the turn, chased the winner and weakened. LEGEND'S GIRL lacked speed, hugged the inner rail on the turn, angled out, swung to the six path in mid stretch and rallied outside horses. GYPSY LULLABY circled the turn three to four wide while chasing the pace, steadied in upper stretch and weakened. RIVA RED bore in after breaking slowly, advanced between horses to mid stretch then flattened out. PARIS BY NIGHT soundly bumped ENGAGE AT WILL when bumped and forced out by PELICAN PIER leaving the starting gate, chased the winner from the two path around the turn and weakened. ENGAGE AT WILL , soundly bumped leaving the starting gate, was outrun. There was a stewards' inquiry concerning the start but no action was taken.
