AND SUM broke forwardly despite a bobble, went clear early and set a rated pace off the inside, was guided three wide and set down into the stretch, turned away an outer threat from CLOSE THE GATE and eagerly pulled away under a drive. CLOSE THE GATE drafted back after and alert break, raced forwardly while three to four wide into the turn, commenced a run soon after, ranged up four wide outside the winner entering the lane, briefly threatened then kept on willingly to hold down the place. DOLICE VITA , sluggish early on, came under pressure off the rail around the turn, circled four wide into the stretch, drifted in near mid stretch then evened out. DADDY YANKEE , towards the inside, edged up to be close up into the turn, was under pressure mid turn, shifted out for the drive, pursued past mid stretch then came up empty. FOGGY DEW , away alertly, prompted the pace outside the winner, was under asking past the five sixteenths, shifted in soon into the stretch and weakened. KITTY'S SON , under urging two wide mid turn, faded. UPSHOT broke slowly, lagged inside, angled five wide for the drive but failed to respond.
