Footnotes
MAJESTIC BLUE , lapped outside the pace setter down the backstretch, took command leaving the far turn, drew off and was under brisk urging in the stretch. BOSS LILY advanced inside horses leaving the backstretch, was in hand from the three eighths pole to three sixteenths pole waiting for room, had clear sailing inside horses the final furlong and rallied gamely. BREWMASTER , a forward factor in the three path leaving the backstretch, raced between horses on the far turn and weakened in the drive. OXFORD UNION raced between horses in the stretch and lacked a rally. EFFICACY trailed to the far turn, swung five deep at the head of the lane and failed to rally. SNEAKING SUSPICION , caught in close quarters leaving the starting gate, circled the first turn three wide, raced in the four path on the far turn and tired. SALVO TRIGGER sped to the front and was taken to the inner rail approaching the first turn, remained near the rail, drifted out in upper stretch and faltered.
