Footnotes
ORATOR came out at the break, remained along the rail stalking the pace, had ample room inside horses in the stretch, led late and drove clear. SHAKIN MY HEAD chased from the two path between horses, bid for the lead late in a game performance. SKULLDUGGERY , reluctant to load into the starting gate, sprinted clear early, set the pace near the rail, steadily drifted out through the stretch and was getting out late under left hand encouragement. PAID VACATION bumped on both sides leaving the starting gate, raced in the two path turning for home and had a mild rally inside horses. TASKER bumped with PAID VACATION at the start, chased three deep around the far turn and flattened out. LONG STRAW lacked speed behind horses on the far turn, swung out in the stretch and failed to menace. M D FIELDSTONE bobbled then bumped with PAID VACATION at the start, was kept wide down the backstretch and around the far turn, floated to the eight path in mid stretch and failed to threaten. WICKHAM LANE , squeezed back at the start, hugged the inner rail down the backstretch, was under urging near the half mile then steadied lacking room near the three and a half furlongs pole.
