Footnotes
ARTILLERY GUNNAR prompted the pace in hand and outside rivals, bid three deep leaving the far turn, wrested command soon into the lane, shook clear under a drive in mid stretch then held sway while kept to task. WOODLINE attended the pace outside the leader, bid to apply more pressure past the half, vied between runners mid turn, chased on from upper stretch and dug in gamely to save the place. MURRAY , four wide early, dropped back some nearing the turn, brushed with an inner rival while six wide in upper stretch then churned on through the final sixteenth to nab the show. QUINCANNON broke a bit slow then edged up between runners near the half, shifted out five wide brushing with MURRAY in upper stretch, closed in past the sixteenth marker then flattened out late. JUST FOR THE MONEY saved ground, slipped through with progress past mid stretch then failed to sustain. DAUFUSKIE ISLAND took over early and set a pressured pace towards the inside, came further off the rail battling into the lane then weakened through the final sixteenth.
