SHORE WAR bobbled slightly at the break, quickly regrouped and cruised clear in the opening sixteenth, dropped in towards the rail then was joined by an outer IXCHEL, sparred with that one past the five eighths, edged back clear under nice rating with a half mile remaining, thwarted an outer run by AMERICAN TAPIT approaching the stretch, kicked well clear under a drive in mid stretch then maintained a comfortable margin while steadily hand ridden through the final yards. NICK'S NOTION settled off the pace but not too far back into the backstretch, saw the leaders get away as the flow quickened past the half, saved ground gathering some steam past the five sixteenths, shifted out four wide for the drive then closed steadily while on her left lead. AMERICAN TAPIT , a bit keen off heels nearing the first turn, settled better and stalked while saving ground through the backstretch, eased out a bit and gained under a ride nearing the lane, chased on past mid stretch then evened out. MINARI rated within range and saved some ground through the backstretch, advanced inside a foe mid way on the final turn, tipped three wide for the drive but came up empty in the final furlong. MEG , three deep early, was under pressure around the final turn and faded. IXCHEL broke through the gate pre race, did not get away then re loaded, edged up between runners into the first turn then engaged the winner from her outside, disputed the pace for a half mile, failed to kick on leaving the three eighths, dropped back and was eased through the final three sixteenths.
