Footnotes
ALANI had speed three deep early, stalked between foes mid turn, entered the lane three wide then shifted in a bit past the three sixteenths when the leader drifted, surged to the inside of PLEASANT EMBRACE to take command near the sixteenth pole, responded to firm asking and drew clear. PLEASANT EMBRACE , off a beat slow when her head was turning as the gates sprung, corrected and was sent up to a pair of rivals to take command, set the pace towards the inner rail, drifted out soon into the lane, straightened and clung to the lead in mid stretch, failed to contain the winner's charge then gave way grudgingly. MY FLICKER had speed between foes then was rated back off the front after a furlong, dropped inside then edged up mid turn, had room along the inner rail in upper stretch but failed to follow through in the final furlong. MS. BUCCHERO bobbled at the break and was away last, regrouped and made a four wide run outside foes mid turn, chased into the stretch, lacked a response leaving the three sixteenths and faded.
