BIGDADDYSBOY saved ground on the turn while well off the pace, swung to the six path in upper stretch, closed determinedly and was up near the finish. COVERT KAT , rated back from between horses about a sixteenth of a mile after the start, stayed in the two path on the turn stalking the pace, moved to the four path in mid stretch, remained on his left lead, took the lead inside the sixteenth pole and gave way grudgingly. ISLAND D'LITE bumped with WICKED FINN leaving the starting gate, stayed near the inner rail throughout and rallied. ONE WHIRLWIND RIDE sped to the front, went clear on the turn, came off the rail in the drive and weakened late. WICKED FINN bumped with ISLAND D'LITE leaving the starting gate and was not a factor. CLAUDEE BOY bore out leaving the starting gate, raced along the inner rail in the stretch and was no factor. MONCRIEF chased outside ONE WHIRLWIND RIDE and gave way. SMITTEN ENOUGH chased the pace, left the turn three wide and faltered.
