KNOCKANARA rated off a three pronged pace battle while saving ground, edged up then was stalled behind rivals near the three sixteenths, shifted out and bid to take a slim lead leaving the furlong grounds, emerged in a battle to the inside of MISTER LINCOLN, clung to a narrow advantage while drifting out several paths and brushing that rival, kept on tenaciously through the final yards and grittily prevailed. MISTER LINCOLN , a bit sluggish from the gate, settled in last and well off of a hotly contested pace, swung out six wide for the drive, made a bold run outside rivals in mid stretch, battled gamely outside KNOCKANARA while brushed and herded out and just missed. CHANGE MY WORLD rated outside KNOCKANARA while tracking the pace, shifted out off heels in upper stretch, drifted in briefly, worked between runners inside the furlong grounds and kept on with effort. DAVYJONZ , off the pace, came three wide for the drive, worked well out in the course for the final eighth and churned on. BENNY HAVENS saved ground, eased out in upper stretch and had belated action. RYE DIGGITYDOG bid outside the leader into the turn then dueled between rivals, gained a slim lead in upper stretch, fought on past mid stretch then faded late. DEWY'S BEAST sped clear early, set the pace towards the inside, dug in when joined into the turn, battled inside foes under a hustling ride past the three eighths, stayed on with good effort to mid stretch then weakened very late. CATTIVO RAGAZZO prompted the pace then bid three deep, vied to upper stretch and weakened. Following a stewards' inquiry and objection by the rider of MISTER LINCOLN, KNOCKANARA was disqualified from first and placed second for causing interference through the final furlong.
