GIFT OF GAB , bumped at the break, was patiently handled inside and off of a contested pace around the turn, crept up along the rail in upper stretch, was deftly guided out five wide and in the clear near mid stretch, closed sharply outside runners while under left handed asking, wrested command in deep stretch and was edging away at the wire. SOMNIUM was angled out nearing the turn, circled four wide with progress into the stretch, moved up to engage the inner duelers with a furlong to go, battled on near even terms leaving the sixteenth pole and kept on gamely to be second best. COME TO MAMA edged up between runners near the half, bid outside the leader mid turn, sparred in the three path from the head of the lane, stayed on between runners past the sixteenth marker then gave way grudgingly. LES REYS (FR) broke forwardly, rated off the leaders and shifted in, took closer order towards the inside in upper stretch, steadied when lacking room in mid stretch, found some clearance along the rail in deep stretch and churned on. LE AMAZONIA sped clear early, set the pace towards the inside, met an outer threat mid turn, dueled in the two path and inside COME TO MAMA while holding a short lead in mdi stretch then weakened very late. SECURE'S HOPE , off the pace and off the inside, angled five wide in upper stretch and had a belated gain. GERRARDS CROSS broke inward bumping the winner, corrected and pulled forward, rated back off the leaders then saved ground, eased out then in while in some traffic in upper stretch. MINTY , forwardly placed three wide into the turn, made a mild move between runners into the stretch, failed to sustain in mid stretch and faded.
