TELL 'EM I'M COMIN , off a beat slow then in tight, regrouped and settled well back early, edged up outside a rival past the five eighths, angled out leaving the far turn and responded to pressure, swept up five wide to take command outside rivals soon into the stretch, kicked clear under left handed asking in mid stretch then held sway while kept to task. FAIRFIELD BAY , up with the leaders two wide into and around the first turn, tracked while saving ground through the backstretch run, came back on and bid three wide between runners entering the stretch, chased the clear winner past mid stretch and kept on with good effort to be second best. EDELWEISS , four wide to contention, dropped in to the two path and shadowed the leader, poked a head in front nearing the far turn, shook clear under asking leaving the three eighths, failed to contain outer threats in upper stretch and weakened through the final sixteenth. MAUPANSANT , fractious pre race, broke on top and vied inside foes into the first turn, drafted back off the leaders then failed to kick on under pressure past the five eighths, shifted out around the final turn and failed to generate a serious run. BERNIE GOES BOOM broke a step slow, regrouped and moved up three wide past the three quarter pole, gained four wide and to the inside of a rival past the five sixteenths, failed to kick on leaving the three sixteenths and faded. GRAY BEAST took over three wide and between runners entering the first turn, cleared then secured the inside, took pressure past the five eighths, failed to kick on leaving the far turn and faltered.
