Footnotes
MCCULLOUGH , bumped from both sides at the break then was squeezed back, settled off the pace and off the inside, rated off of a rival's heels near the five eighths, dropped inside to edge up past the half, came back out for room leaving the three eighths and a duel was going on, looped rivals with a strong five wide run into the stretch, surged clear under a drive leaving the three sixteenths, wandered outward and held well while kept alert. TIMSHEL , bumped at the break, rated off the inside, worked between foes with an advance around the final turn, waited in traffic in upper stretch, altered in to split rivals the finished up with good energy to be well clear of the rest. KORU settled towards the inside, angled out leaving the far turn, gained four wide and between runners to challenge entering the stretch, churned on and nabbed the show. ZEVON rated in range off the inside, took closer order leaving the far turn, bid three wide between horses nearing the lane, failed to sustain past mid stretch and faded. KING SIZE , bumped at the break, edged up between horses then angled out to prompt, disputed the pace on near even terms into the far turn, took command soon after, edged away a bit past the three eighths, was swarmed over entering the stretch and weakened. ZAPATA (IRE) was an early factor inside rivals and faded. FIGHTERTOWN edged up from the outside to take over early, dropped in after clearing then met bids around the first turn, emerged in a duel to the inside of KING SIZE through the backstretch, was unable to stay on under a ride in upper stretch and weakened. MOHS had aim inside and weakened. THE LAST SCIP , four to five wide, faltered leaving the far turn and was eased.
