COILED , rank when steadied on heels entering the first turn, stayed along the inner rail under patient handling, hugged the rail through the stretch, closed through a narrow opening and was up approaching the finish. ZEVON , steadied entering the first turn, stayed along the rail to the final turn, eased out on the bend, moved to the four path and gained a short lead in mid stretch, drifted in and gave way grudgingly. WHISKEYINTHEJARO trailed to the stretch, swung to the seven path in mid stretch and closed late. VAX A NATION lacked speed, was taken to the six path in mid stretch and rallied between horses. LAZLO , rated early, stayed outside horses and failed to rally. JHIRSCH chased the pace outside OWHATANITE and gave way. OWHATANITE set the pace along the inner rail, drifted out entering the stretch then final time and gave way.
