Footnotes
MCRAVIN , rank and four wide entering the first turn, moved to the two path on the bend, rated, swung four wide leaving the far turn, raced greenly drifting out near the eighth pole and in when challenging for the lead near the sixteenth pole and proved best. JURIS DOCTOR prompted the pace outside LUNAR LIGHTNING, bid for the lead between horses entering the stretch, drifted out near the sixteenth pole and gave way grudgingly. MONTERREY saved ground on the turns and rallied. LUNAR LIGHTNING set the pace along the rail, was hooked turning for home, remained prominent to mid stretch and weakened. RICHARD FEYNMAN , thee wide both turns, bid for the lead outside horses at the head of the stretch and gave way in the drive. SE THAR BARR stayed along the inner rail down the backstretch and around the tar turn and failed to be a factor. SEVER broke slowly and trailed.
