Footnotes
VOLUNTARY forwardly placed from the start while three wide past the furlong marker, settled in the second flight onto the backstretch, went back after the leader while appearing to lug in early far turn, in hand when showing the way into the stretch, maintained that advantage to the wire under steady handling. WETHERBY pulled early while off the inside, covered up and idled through the final turn, saved ground into the lane, moved out, bumped AWESOME MCKINZIE at the furlong grounds, was righted and finished with interest to be slowly closing the gap on the winner. AWESOME MCKINZIE in the second flight along the inside under a firm hold, continued to be restrained into the far turn inside, angled out to be three wide into the lane, bumped by the runner up with a furlong to run, up late for the show. MOLLY THE GREAT last away, continued to lag for six furlongs, two path exiting the final bend, improved position through traffic, not enough late for the show. BAND ON THE RUN well back while racing toward the inside, continued to save ground second turn, in some traffic late in that bend, improved a bit through the lane. REHOBOTH AVENUE void of speed off the inside, floated out to be five wide turning for home, went evenly through the lane in lacking a closing punch. CHECK RIDE angled in to conserve some ground into the first turn, remained within striking distance outside, was idling when floated out four wide entering the straight, tired in the run to the wire. VEKOMA'S WAR prompted the pace from off the inside for six furlongs, backed up through the stretch. C C COMMANDER set the pace along the inside, continued to hold a narrow advantage into the far turn, began to weaken when headed by the winner soon after. AMBERIA (IRE) lacked speed, finished early.
