WAR HUMOR prompted the pace outside SHEAR MAGIC gained a short lead in mid stretch and prevailed in an extended drive. AGENT KELLY hugged the inner rail around the turn and in upper stretch, altered course to the three path in mid stretch and rallied strongly outside the winner. SHEAR MAGIC set a pressured pace along the inner rail and weakened. JUS TOO FLY , a forward factor in the two path stalking the pace around the turn, failed to rally. ELON , checked then taken up soon after the break, rushed up in the four path entering the turn, chased the pace to the stretch then tired. TAKETHEFIFTH , five deep leaving the backstretch, remained wide on the turn and was no factor. STRAIGHT TO WATER , between horses down the backstretch, checked in narrow quarters inside ELON entering the turn and was no late factor. An objection by the rider of STRAIGHT TO WATER against ELON for alleged interference entering the turn was not allowed.
