BLACKTHORNE BRUSCA lacked speed, raced in the two path on the backstretch, eased out four wide at the head of the stretch, closed steadily and was up near the wire. ROYAL RENEGADE raced forwardly in the two path between horses entering the far turn, eased out entering the stretch, gained a short lead in mid stretch, drifted out late and missed. UNION THUNDER hopped at the break and was well off the pace on the backstretch, raced well off the rail turning for home and rallied between horses. D HOPPER chased the pace from the two path, bid for the lead turning for home and faded late. BODYBUILDER broke slowly, moved up three wide on the far turn and tired. DOUG'S TRIUMPH , unhurried early, hugged the inner rail in the stretch and showed late interest in narrow quarters. ROYAL FLUSH HEARTS set a pressured pace along the inner rail and gave way the final furlong. STEELER NATION stayed along the inner rail the far turn and retreated in the stretch.
