NEXT LEVEL , patiently rated close up and between foes, worked outward leaving the five sixteenths, shifted out five wide soon into the lane, responded when put to a left handed ask near mid stretch, surged past embattled inner foes inside the sixteenth marker and eagerly went clear. LURE HIM IN , four wide to contention, attended the pace three deep under restraint through the backstretch run, battled on near even terms leaving the three eighths, briefly led then stayed on between runners past the quarter pole, inherited the inner rail past the three sixteenths, fought back to the inside of OTAGO in mid stretch, appeared to gain a slim lead sparring past the sixteenth marker then kept on gamely to the wire. OTAGO tracked three deep under rating, eased out and was given a cue to bid four deep past the three eighths, dueled on a short lead outside LURE HIM IN leaving the three sixteenths, lost the advantage near the sixteenth pole then gave way grudgingly. JUST A FAIR SHAKE prompted the pace between foes, vied on near even terms leaving the three eighths, stayed on to the inside of a pair of foes near the quarter pole, shifted out when outpaced leaving the three sixteenths, chased on and came up empty very late. PAY BILLY stalked inside, was pushed along exiting the far turn, eased out near the quarter pole, failed to kick on and faded. BRINDANO , off the pace four wide, swung six wide nearing the stretch and failed to generate a late run. UNION FLEET , off the pace while saving ground, gained after angling out leaving the far turn, shifted five wide nearing the lane, failed to sustain past the three sixteenths and faded. BRIGHTY took over soon after the break, set a pressured pace inside, steadied when unable to keep pace past the five sixteenths, faltered and was eased late.
